What is a Bold Crossing Anyway?
The name 12Stone comes from the story of Joshua, who lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. Before they could reach the Promised Land, they would have to cross the Jordan River which was at flood stage. God told Joshua to have the priests, who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant, step into the water. When they did, the waters were cut off, allowing the Israelites to cross on dry land. Once they were on the other side of the river, 12 stones (one for each of the 12 tribes of Israel) were taken from the river and set up as a monument so that future generations would know the power of God.
We Exist to Inspire Bold Crossings
We may not have to cross flood-stage rivers on foot these days, but we all face obstacles between where we are and where we want to be. Some of us are facing challenges in our marriages, finances, relationships or in pursuit to become who God created us to be. We want to get to the other side and experience life to the fullest, but know that the only way we have a chance of reaching our own promised land is if God intervenes. 12Stone stands in the deep part of the river helping you, with God's power, to make life's bold crossings.
