12Stone Tuesdays

12Stone®, as a proud sponsor of the Gwinnett Braves, is privileged to honor our local compassion partners on 12Stone® Tuesdays at Coolray Field. Take a break from the Tuesday night routine, come on out with the whole family and enjoy the game as our partners share information about their services in the community.

Enjoy our special offer for 12Stone families to get 2 tickets for the price of 1!

Giving Ourselves Away

At 12Stone® Church we believe we are most like Christ when we give ourselves away to those who are under resourced or marginalized by society. Scripture clearly expresses the heart of God to turn to the poor, the sick, the immigrant, the prisoner, the widow, and the orphan. As Christ followers, therefore, we are called to serve others by giving ourselves away.

As an organizational strategy, we believe we are best able to do this when we partner with other organizations that focus on specific target areas rather than building program areas within the church. Partnering with other local non-profit ministries in Gwinnett and surrounding counties, 12Stone® seeks to be an agent of change and transformation. We seek to effect change that relieves suffering, overcomes oppression, and fights injustice -- all characterized by the love that transforms and shows we care about what God cares about.

Three Primary Issues:

Poverty - Throughout scripture, God's heart for the poor was expressed over and over again. As people of faith, we believe that God provides all of our resources. By collectively gathering our resources, we're able to assist those in need of basic assistance.

Education - In our culture today, education is essential for a quality life. Even in ancient days, the writers of the Proverbs recognized the value of wisdom and knowledge. (See Proverbs 3.) Today, many at-risk and vulnerable children simply do not have the family structure necessary to thrive in our education systems. Through support of the public school system and mentoring programs.

Justice - God calls His church to seek justice and mercy. Like a city on a hill, the Church must shine light into darkness. Through our partnerships we are advocates and agents to right injustice in our society.

Prayer Team[+/-]

Do you have a heart for intercessory prayer? Extension Ministries is seeking prayer warriors to be part of our team as we move forward and take new ground in an ever expanding kingdom. We realize and value the importance of prayer for this ministry and the covering that it provides for us on a daily basis. We simply cannot survive without it. Your part in this could be as easy as receiving updates and request to pray about in your quiet time or join our prayer force when they meet twice a month at the Hamilton Mill Campus. If you would like additional information about serving in the most needed and important way, contact Jodi Cofer coferfam@tds.net .
