The college years are like standing at the waters edge between colliding worlds;
being a child and being an adult, between security and freedom and between
their parent's faith and their own. They are making decisions that will set a trajectory for the course of their lives. We are passionate about inspiring and teaching them
to make decisions based on spiritual and biblical principles.
In short, we teach college students to follow Jesus.

College Ministry
Core Concept
The college years in America are characterized by a lack of spiritual commitment. At Water's Edge, we exist to reclaim the college years for Christ. We do this by leading Christians and non-Christians to be followers of Jesus and give themselves to God through worship, to others through community and the world through local and global acts of compassion.
Environments
Worship
Every Tuesday night starting at 7:45 pm, hundreds of college students gather to engage in authentic worship, relevant teaching and deep prayer. The environment and service elements are designed by and for students to create a worship experience to draw near, breathe deep and worship freely.
Community
Water's Edge is not just an event to show up to, it's a people to belong to. We are eager to see college students connect in life changing community and form redemptive relationships. Every semester we offer a variety of small groups that offer a chance to develop deeper relationships with others and an avenue for intentional study and spiritual growth.
Local/Global Compassion
In following the path of Jesus, we believe in serving our world and helping those that are lost, hurting and broken. College students have a strong desire to make a difference- to be part of the solution so we offer opportunities for them to serve through local compassion projects and also to expand their worldview and love for God's people on one of our mission trips.
Parent Involvement
Moving from Authority to Influence
The art of parenting an emerging adult is to strike the right balance between intervening throughtfully during true crises and standing aside during mild difficulties so they can work through dilemmas and develop their own competencies.
