All families and all children deserve to have a place to come where we can grow in faith and community.
One of the ways 12Stone aims to transform families is to create a place for families with children with special needs. By having a service where we can provide care for these children and enable their parents to attend church together, we can give the opportunity for growth in faith and community.
At Volunteer Orientation, you will discover the many different opportunities within Children’s Ministry. While experience is not required, we do value your current or previous involvement with special needs families. We will train and equip you, but most importantly we want you to share the love of Jesus and provide support to these precious children and students.

We are excited to serve your family and your children (6 weeks – 22 years old). We offer two distinct environments. The first is a classroom model where children and students will be with others their age in a fun atmosphere of engaging activities modified to meet their needs. The second is a buddy system for preschool or elementary-aged students. In this environment a trained volunteer assists your child with activities and provides support for a well-connected experience.
We also have a specially equipped sensory room for children and students needing that option.
We offer these two models at the 1 pm service at our Central Campus in Lawrenceville. Please click the link below and complete the form and someone from our ministry will contact you and assist you with the best option for your child.
