Closed-toed shoes are a must, and comfort is key since you’ll be on your feet, moving, smiling, and maybe dancing a little. Dress like you're coming to serve and stay safe.
Honestly? Nothing. No bags, no jewelry, no snacks sneaked in your pocket (yes, even that). We follow FDA guidelines like the pros. Just bring yourself—and maybe your “I’m ready to make days” attitude.
Show up 15 minutes before your scheduled shift so you’re not sprinting in mid-orientation. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we might ask you to join the next shift.
Yes! If they’re 5 years old or older, they’re welcome to join you. Just keep in mind it’s a fast-paced environment, so bring your little helpers who are ready to roll.
Once you’re at the convention center, follow the signs for Parking Deck 1. Park on Level P3 for the smoothest access straight across to the building. If that’s full, P2 or P4 work too—you’ll just get a few extra steps in. Free cardio!
Absolutely—the more, the merrier! Whether you’re a business, sports team or book club with big hearts, we’d love to have you. If you're bringing more than 10 people, just fill out the Register Your Organization form on this page so we can roll out the red carpet.
Each packing shift is 2 hours of impact-packed fun. But plan to be with us for about 2.5 hours total to allow time for parking, orientation, and a quick clean-up for the next shift.
Feed My Starving Children has worked hard to create nutritious meal formulas that really meet the need of starving people, and this food makes a real impact in their lives. The organization has sent food to 51 countries in 2026. Learn more about Feed My Starving Children and their mission here!
